I can honestly say I’ve never done it, nor had it done to me. There are certain precautions any dancer worth her skills knows to take, and one is GasX before work!!

There aren’t 3 solid reasons. My main reason for starting out was the hours. I needed to be able to set my own schedule and it’s almost the only job in which you have the freedom to do so.

If you have balls, and they need building, perhaps stripping isn’t the proffession you should be looking at.

If I’ve ever felt that a customer has been innappropriate with me, I’ve never had a problem getting him/her tossed. I did sit with a B-list celeb once whose “bodyguard” asked another girl to sit as well. She leaned over and said “I loved you in _____________”, and he turned to her and asked “Do you ever shut up?”  Literally that was all she said sitting down. I was offended for her, told him he wasn’t famous enough to be an asshole and we excused ourselves. We never asked to have him tossed, but in stripper solidarity, (which is rare), we did blacklist him and he was unable to get another girl to sit with him.

I wish I could help, but honestly I don’t know what works for girls beyond, “can I buy you a drink?” (I’m talking in regular bars here, not strip clubs.) I’ve gone out with a guy friend a few times and watched him in action and am appalled at how bitchy girls can be to a guy just trying to be nice. It is my personal philosophy that it takes balls to walk up to any woman and attempt to start a conversation, so I’m always nice to any guy who has that kind of gumption. All I can say is good luck. With what I’ve witnessed, it’s tough for you guys right now! As my guy friend says “If I could switch places with you women for one night, I’d be the biggest whore there ever was!”

There is no average. Your take home depends on your motivation to work the room that shift and the customers. And as my boss is fond of saying, “all it takes is one”. (Good customer, he means.)

Again with the text verbiage. GGrr….It’s all about the money for the most part. Not saying love connections never happen in the club between customers and strippers, just saying, it’s a job and we’re there to work.
